Autodesk SketchBook always crashes
With almost every app, it is more than annoying if it always crashes. But what can you do specifically at Autodesk SketchBook so that it will work in the future.
What to do if Autodesk SketchBook crashes?
As mentioned several times, it is basically the responsibility of the developer to prevent crashes from Autodesk SketchBook. But it is not always because the app was poorly programmed or the developer is to blame. Ultimately, the app only works smoothly in combination with the operating system. Therefore, it is always recommended to take the following basic measures to avoid crashes:
- Install the latest iOS or Android version
- Check Autodesk SketchBook for updates and update if necessary
- Restart smartphone or tablet completely
- Uninstall and reinstall Autodesk SketchBook

Autodesk sketchbook crashes/freezes every time I open it. The only way I was able to get it work was when I unplugged my two other monitors. This forced the program to open in main monitor, where it did not crash. I was even able to move the application to another screen after that, but when I clicked to expand then it freezed again and would continue to do so, when I open the app again and it opens in my secondary monitor. Because of this I am unable to use this program with my wacom intuos pro. I paid 20 euros for a program, that I am unable to use.
Whenever I go to save my work it either says ‘save failed’ or just crashes on me. Sometimes it even crashes before I open it.
