Won’t allow me ro login in says connection error
Hi, I have the Tk905 and have the sim inserted and the admin number set, my tracker responds to commands and sends me the messages however instead of sending from the SIM card number, it uses public / generated numbers to respond to the commands given.
I was able to find one of the numbers on a website known for offering virtual and public phone numbers.
Is there any way to make the tracker send me messages from the SIM Card?

I have a problem with the TKSTAR it doesn t work anymore blue light and yellow light stay on. Simcard works but cannot contact it in the tkstar. Cannot reach it with commands so I think I need to reset the hardware in it but how to do this?

Hello. I bought Tkstar model Tk905. I follow the instructions from the brochure. At the start works perfectly! At the half of the day,GPRS stop working and is always solid light and not flash as it was at the start.
I try to do hard reset with the password from the brochure( begin123456) ,i received the message that say was ok,but nothing changed! Now, my question is what others option do i have to do in order to make it work?
As about the card that i put in,is fully work. I use the app on my phone and says when i opened offline battery 100%. Am out of options and i would need some advise how should i proceed from now on?

The TKSTAR TK905 and TK915 are useless GPS devices when you cannot turn them off. These trackers have no way to turn off except remove the sim card which makes them useless! Firmware should be updated to allow a command to turn the unit off and they could then be used by commercial companies like mine. I would suggest someone re-write the firmware and add a turn off feature.
I have the tk star 905. It was working fine, but it started to appear, bad starting position, the place where it showed the location was not that one. After a few hours, movement appeared from the same location. in the end it remained offline at 60%. It is not in operation. does not work.
Connect your unit to a reputable server and use new commands to connect. The unit will send data correctly via TCPIP. Get away from the free app and server by tkstar and the unit will work. These are Chinese knock offs and cheap made.
Cannot open app. correct I.D. and password entered. App says either is incorrect . but nothing has been changed.

My TKStar mini 901 was working ok for a few days after receiving it. I installed it in a more permanent way in my car and it just stopped. Prior to installing it in my car had just swapped out SIM cards from another Sinotrack tracker. After the sim swap it had also stopped working. Neither of them allowed me to enter the new administrator number after swapping SIM cards so I swapped them back to their ordinal SIM cards. My sinotrack works fine again after replacing its original SIM. The TKStar still does nothing. I don’t know if it’s the damn SIM card or the device. Like I said it was working ok before swapping and I know not SIM cards are active. I’m getting a blinking yellow light indicating that GPRS is working on the TKstar fine but the device itself is not working. What gives? How do u reset these things if at all godly possible?

China cheap device with poor workmanship and bad firmware plus their app is the main problem. I suggest if you want these knock off units to work, connect to a reputable server and start fresh with the commands to set up and they will work. I have 10 of these units working on my server but cannot sell them as you cannot turn them off with a command.
I have a 905b unit off site that works well. I have purchased 2 more and neither will connect to GPRS at all The yellow light turns off and on very slowly and the blue flashes corrrectly. Ant ideas please?
Use a reputable server and not the Tkstar free one. You do not need to set up GPRS when it will connect to TCPIP on another server and NOT the free one with TKSTAR.
I’ve never been able to get the app to work properly. When I first received it by mail I down loaded the application and followed the instructions to set it up. I was able to log in but never got the app to do real time tracking or allow me to see history then a month or so later I then tried to log in again hoping it would work and now it’s saying invalid user name and password. Please help
