I purchased voice dream reader app and many voices for my iphone and ipad.
I just purchased another ipad and I installed the voice dream reader app on my new ipad.
I hit to restore my purchased voices, but it won’t let me install my purchased voices.
I purchased (7) Ivona voices (7) NeoSpeech voices and (3) Acapela voices.
I can download the NeoSpeech voices but I cannot download the Ivona and Acapela voices to my new iPad.
I just reset the iPad to default and I am still having the same problem.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the following voicedream reader problem. My bought voices from ivona and acapella are shown in my list of available voices. But next to them is a download symbol. When I click on that. I seem to get a messages that the file is getting downloaded. But the file never arrives. The downloading symbol remains, and I can’t open the voice to choose it for a document. Also in the buying tab, wYou can buy voices, and the transaction goes through. But the new voice has the same problem as the onther ones. You also can’t test play the voices in the buying tab if you click on a “test play” button a window opens with a canceling option and nothing else. No voice says anything.
What could be the problem? I have ios 16.4 on my iphone but the problem although existed in ios 16.3 and also exists on ipad ios 15.
Any suggestions?

Hey. On my iPhone Voicedream simpelt gives up on Reading the word “are” on its own, or any word containing “are” as a syllable This means that the verb “are” is just skipped, that the word shared is spelled out as “S H D” and disappeared become “disapped”.
At first I believed it to be a problem with the encoding of the PDFs I Use VD for reading, but the problem persist if I copy and paste text into the app.

Another very common issue with epub files is that the on-screen cursor gets stuck at the start of a paragraph until the voice gets through the entire paragraph. This happens only to some paragraphs and sometimes (but more rarely) even in the middle of a paragraph. I haven’t been able to pin down the exact pattern, but as an example, in many books this happens to every paragraph that starts with symbols in a Small Caps font.
There is a bug affecting many epub files on iOS, where upon loading the file the app displays the error message “Bad document format” even though the same file can be correctly opened in iBooks or any other epub reader. The fix for this is to convert the file to another ebook format (say azw3) and then back to epub, after which Voice Dream opens it correctly.

Using my imac I have successfully downloaded an ePub to Evernote and put it in the appropriate place. When I open Voice Dream Reader on my iPad the book appears and when I open it it shows the text correctly but when I click the bottom button I cannot get it to speak. in the past it would highlight the text as it read, but that is not happening now.
