My web version of Cricut keeps crashing in the middle of my design, I just worked on a design for an hour and it crashed on me. Now, I have to start all over. This is the third time it has crashed on me in the last week. Please fix this.
I have been working on a few projects for 2 days. It shouldn’t of taken more than 3-4 hours. Yesterday in the middle of the day, there was a mandatory update and wouldn’t let me proceed!!!! Why would you do that in the middle of the day. It crashes every 30 minutes. When it does the last thing I did doesn’t save so I have to go back and redo what I did. I’ve done this 10 times or more in 2 days. Before the update it crashed sometimes but after the update I can’t get anything done!!!

I am almost at the point of selling my cricket machine simply because the software will not stay open long enough for me to be able to design anything I can’t complete or start a project because every time I try to go to the canvas, the app crashes. I am using design space version 7.37.121 (latest), and I have an svg I import. It uploads, and I can add it to the canvas. I rescale it down to largest dimension of 11 (11.5 or less for maker 3, current hardware). When I choose make it, it does the loading and color for mats (currently just 1 mat, using black only). Once that loads, within seconds, the CPU usage goes to 100 percent and the app crashed and restarts itself with nothing saved, just a new project window. I am using Windows 10 64 bit, and I have 32Gb memory and an i5 cpu clocked at 4.2GHz. Its a gaming pc so its MORE than capable. I have also tried deleting cache as suggested and force updating. No luck.

App crashes constantly every time I do almost any action, no one thing is causing it. Sometimes it is hiding/un-hiding layers, sometimes it’s grouping, sometimes it’s combining. It’s never one thing and it’s getting very annoying. I can hardly use the product. Right now, I can’t un-hide a specific layer at all and I can’t just remake this project. I just installed Design Space on my high-processing speed laptop. Why in the world does it keep crashing? I’m trying to upload an image from my computer into cricut design space. I’ve uploaded several already, but the last 4 I need to upload are giving me some trouble.
I go through the steps as normal, hit upload, drag and drop the image from a folder on my desktop, and select complex. At this point it will give me the little preview image and seem to be running fine, hit continue and arrive at the background removal page (I don’t actually need to remove the background of these images). The loading wheel will spin for an unusually long time on the preview screen, then the image will appear for less than a second and the image uploading window will go blank and seem to crash, before returning to my blank canvas.
I’ve tried a few times with each of the images, but no luck yet. Like I said I have already uploaded several images of similar resolution/size with no issue. Could you help me get this one solved?

I just updated to latest version and now I cannot use contour. I select my image, a single basic cut image, and then select contour. The bouncing ball of death spins within the contour window, and after a minute, the entire program reboots, losing all my work on that project.
Slow to open & keeps crashing x2 days

I was working in Design space and my screen went blank. When it came back a few seconds later, I lost everything I had been working on for Hours!! The mouse will allow me to click, but Cricut Design Space does not respond. Not the first time this has happened. Extremely frustrating to lose all that work! I was working on the project for 6.5 hours!!
Program has crashed 4 times now during a project while cutting. Therefore costing more more as I’m cutting HTV and now can’t resume it.
I updated Design Space, completely uninstalled, powered off my iPad Air 5, restarted, and reinstalled Design Space, and it continues to crash and close itself back out every time I try to open the Canvas, start New Project, or Customize one of my Projects.
I also have Design Space on my Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G, which is on the same Wi-Fi connection as my iPad, and it’s working great on it, so internet connection must not be an issue. Problem is I need to use offset on a project and that feature is not yet available on the android version, hence my need for it to work on the iPad.
I’ve spent hours last night and this morning trying everything I find on troubleshooting the issue to no avail. Any advise?
I have been having this same exact issue for the last week-2weeks. I have the same apple ipad air 5th generation with a wireless cellular data plan, and then i also have design space on my Microsoft surface go with my in home wifi. Both devices are doing the exact same thing! I have updated EVERYTHING, uninstalled re installed, turned off restarted both devices logging in and out and re logging into design space. So frustrated!!!!!

as fast as I open the cricut design space app, within a few seconds, it closes itself. I can’t even click any buttons on the app without it closing out and reopening a new blank canvas. I have deleted/reinstalled the app numerous times, recreated a project under a new name multiple times, cleared the ache countless times, signed in on different devices, restarted devices, ensured all updates were completed, verified proper internet connection…ALL TO NO AVAIL. Teh only problems I’m having is directly with Cricut Software. Everything else on every one of my devices (laptop, Desktop, Tablet) works without issue. This design space app is horrendous. I am ready to sell off everything cricut, throw it in the lake, burn it and start using a more reliable software with another cutting machine. this has been going on for a very long time and i have repeatedly reported it to Cricut…TO NO AVAIL. I feel like Cricut should start refunding the software annual fee that I pay to NOT be able to use the software. There are thousands of people with the same problem. FIX THIS SOFTWARE.

It was working fine the night before, then I went to make a change and everytime I go to open an existing project it crashes and takes me to the Home Screen on the iPad. Hello, I’m a Pre-K teacher. I have been trying to make stickers of my students to hand out with their certificates and scissor licences at the end of the school year. However, Cricut Design Space has shut down approximately 20 times in the span of an hour, preventing me from getting much of my work done. I would like this fixed so that I may resume. Thank you.

Beginning this week, Design Space crashes my Mac every time I open it. Have reinstalled, rebooted, closed all other applications. Nothing makes this work. Trying to upload and image but when I select anything other than complex it crashes and when trying to erase the back ground it also crashes using the (automatic , select and eraser tools ) I restated the computer and reinstalled.

We can’t edit a design after closing out of it. when we do it crashes and shuts the whole app out entirely.
I am using the desktop version of design space and it is crashing every 2 minutes. Completely closes and when I open it back up it tells me that I had unsaved work that I need to access from My Projects but the work is only from the last save I did. I’m now saving my work after every little change I make.

Since the latest update to Design Space for iPad, my app freezes and crashes frequently. I have checked for updates, closed the program, and restarted my iPad. I am using the latest iPad mini with the current iOS installed. The program also crashes while me design is being cut. I have wasted many sheets of vinyl because of this. The vinyl is Cricut’s Everday Iron-On in solid colors.

I have completed all the steps above. I recently installed the new firmware update and since then my app has stopped working.
