DeviantArt always crashes

With almost every app, it is more than annoying if it always crashes. But what can you do specifically at DeviantArt so that it will work in the future.

What to do if DeviantArt crashes?

As mentioned several times, it is basically the responsibility of the developer to prevent crashes from DeviantArt. But it is not always because the app was poorly programmed or the developer is to blame. Ultimately, the app only works smoothly in combination with the operating system. Therefore, it is always recommended to take the following basic measures to avoid crashes:

  • Install the latest iOS or Android version

  1. The DA site/browser keeps crashing whenever I remain on a page for a few seconds. Especially while trying to submit art and add a description. It’s FRUSTRATING as hell…
I only have this problem with DA.

the site keeps crashing whenever I remain a page for longer then a minute. sometimes even less! what the hell DA?!

  3. Its not just the app any more its on browser too. Plus it does when browsing, I’ve usually got about four to five minutes before I have to reload the page. For reference, I have a practically brand new windows 10 PC that’s up to date and my internet is connected/ works perfectly fine. I only have problems on DA and am at a loss as to what I should do to fix this.

  4. Well I’ve tried everything there are no updates for the app in the store, my phone is up to date and I tried turning my phone off and then on, then I tried deleting and reinstalling the app and lastly I tried deleting the app then turning my phone off and on reinstalling the app after that so I’ve come here.

The app seems to work fine when I’m logged out but as soon as I log in it starts crashing and every time I have tried to open the app since this morning it has crashed almost immediately no error messages or anything just instantly crashing

    App keeps on crashing

  6. I use an Iphone 6 with IOS 12.5 – since the latest update( it worked before that ), DeviantArt app ALWAYS crashes whenever I try to open it; tried uninstalling an reinstall it later( hoped it could be solved by then and a working version would be avaiable in the app store ), but the same problem persist!

  7. For the last week, my mobile app crashes on load up. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app and followed all the steps in the troubleshooting guide. I barely see a flash of the screen before it crashes again. This is inconvenient as I do need to be able to read notes and chats from customers during the day. Is there anything the phone itself may be doing to deny its function? Seems that the App store doesn’t see a more current version of the app… is the phone or the phones OS too old?
