It’s not that the password is incorrect, because we tried a different password just to see if it would give us an error message if the wrong password would alert us, which it did. Hello, I purchased three chrome books, one for each of my children. Specifically I was interested in them all having their own messenger kids app on their own computers. they already have existing accounts that they have been using on the family iPad for years. I have downloaded the app from google play, and entered my email to connect it to my Facebook account. I see my Facebook avatar picture and then it prompts me to enter my password and authorize the device. After I do this, it takes me right back to the same login page to re-enter my email, password, and authorize the device, over and over without ever connecting the Messenger kids app into my Facebook account. I’m very confused I need to have this issue resolved or I will just be packing up and returning the chrome books. Thank you!!
This is exactly the same problem I am having. Just takes me straight back to the authorize device login page without ever actually logging me in. I’ve restarted the phone, unistalled the app and downloaded it again, even reset my password and it still does it.

Hello. Won’t let my kid log in to her account. It let’s me enter the password & E-mail, but even then it says loading for a milli-second ans then makes me put it in again, its fully updated, I’ve tired restarting the phone, uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting the app. Nothing works.

I have been trying to “Add Contacts” for my kids and every time I try going to the add contacts area it just sits and loads for a minute or so, then it crashes and says theres an error FB is trying to fix. My daughter can no longer send messages and we have just installed it.
Hello, when i log in with my adult email and password in order to verify my device i continue to receive a message that says the user is not allowed to open this app. I have tried re-installing the app confirming it is upadated, restarting my phone, checking all my settings on my adult profile, cleared the data and cache for the app, and still no success. The problem has been ongoing for over a week. I have tried on different devices, as well as adding my husband to my child’s profile and he also is not allowed to log in and verify the device.

I guess I wasn’t too clear. Sorry. My granddaughter is on her tablet doing something (watching a movie or playing a game). I send her a text message and nothing pops up on the screen to let her know she has a message. She has to just go in and check sometimes to see if she has a message. The notification is on. That works. It just does not pop up the notification to let her know she has a message if she is involved in something on the tablet. Any advice

Both of my kids have a samsung galaxy 8+ with wifi only. Recently messenger kids does not recognize our wifi. The internet works on their phone. The parent dashboard app is not on my adult Facebook profile menu. I want to set up an account for parent and for child. I have the messenger kids app but not the adult one on Facebook. What do I do ? Can this be set up and done from a Android ? Or do I have to have a computer ?
Every time I press create account it won’t work
I keep getting an error when trying to log into my children’s Messenger Kids account. Keeps stating “The user is not allowed to log into the app” I have no clue how to fix this error.
Messenger kids won’t allow my child to send messages anymore. They were chatting with a friend then all of a sudden it won’t allow him to send a message. Comes up with “ an error occurred while processing this request. Please try again later”
How can this be fixed?

My child isn’t able to send messages
Just added 2 new contacts to daughter’s account. They accepted but she is unable to send messages to them. It gives the red exclamation point and says send failed. Initially after the 1st, I thought maybe that child has unintentionally blocked her or had deactivated their account, but the other one is doing the same thing. She can still send messages to contacts she’s already had. I’ve tried restarting app and phone.
Asks to join camera and microphone out of nowhere now and can’t do it on app settings.
We are able to receive messages but unable to successfully send messages on Messagenger Kids.
I talk to my future step daughter via this all the time. I recently had my fb hacked and had to create a new account. Her mom keeps trying to authorize me but it doesn’t work. Says the parent has to be friends with me, which we are obviously.
When creating account, It always says something went wrong, try again later
One of my kids app will only text my account, but he cannot message any of his friends, only FaceTime calls. Why would he be able to message me but not them? The error that we keep getting is that the message was unable to send please try again later, which is not very helpful to troubleshoot.
I don’t always get notifications when someone send my kids messages. My kids profile pictures show up sideways, and the layout on my kids pages are different like only one updated.

My sons messenger kids won’t connect at all on his phone. I’ve checked all the settings and don’t understand why it won’t work. Any ideas?
Cannot add my brother (their uncle) to their Messenger Kids contacts. Get an error message each time I try. He is a new user.

Says child cannot send or receive calls or messages but app is not in sleep mode and says child is online
Why does my daughters messenger kids keep saying no internet connection on her iPhone 8. I can get on safari or google with no problems. It is only for this app. The WiFi is working fine. We tried using data only and get the same thing. We have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have tried making her a new account. Does anyone know how to get it working properly?
