I am a MY2023 Q4 owner in Canada using myapp for scheduled charging.
On Saturday 25 March evening (EST) I set a scheduled charge in myaudi app to complete on Sunday 26 March at 10am. The time in the Q4 corresponded with EST and the time in my iPad with the myaudi app. The Q4 MMI also showed the complete time as 10am on Sunday 26 March.
HOWEVER, after setting and double checking the Sunday 10am complete time in myaudi app, the app showed a message something like “expected completion time Mon 27 March”. Since the time & day settings were correct and consistent in both the app and the MMI, I waited until Sunday morning to see what would happen. The charging completed at 9am on Sunday – an hour early. Then I realized a possible explanation could be that since:
– the MMI and myaudi app communicate via the Audi cloud portal AND
– Europe advanced its clocks one hour on Sunday 26 March AND
– I tested everything again with a scheduled charge for Monday 27 March completion (set on Sunday evening) and everything worked fine with no inconsistent messages,
I am guessing there is a bug in the software due to the different timezones and Europe’s time advancing 1 hour on the date I set the charge to complete.
My Audi A1 2020 the Audi App sometimes resets the Long term memory to Zero, and the mileage reset to Zero .Very annoying .unsure which is the cause of the reset?
