The cooking app on my laptop will open but won’t show the recipes. How can I fix it?
Getting error trying to save other site’s recipe to NYT cooking app
Same here. From NYT support:
“I do apologize for any inconveniences the issue may be have cause. I have been in communication with the NYT Cooking Product Support team and it seems this has been a known issue for some time now.
While this is something that the team is looking into, it’s very possible that they may not be able to resolve the issue. The problem rests on the ever evolving security of internet web sites, who simply don’t allow their content to be saved by a third-party.
Unfortunately, as this issue is affecting all NYT Cooking subscribers I am unable to escalate this issue to a supervisor. Our developers are working to solve this issue and have not yet provided an ETA. You can check the tool (cooking.nytimes.com/tools) regularly to know when it’s fixed.”
I used to be able to save to the grocery list. Now it says: Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information). And then it says:
Access to fetch at ‘https://grocerylists.cooking.nytimes.com/lists’ from origin ‘https://cooking.nytimes.com’ has been blocked by CORS policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. If an opaque response serves your needs, set the request’s mode to ‘no-cors’ to fetch the resource with CORS disabled.
grocerylists.cooking.nytimes.com/lists:1 Failed to load resource: net::ERR_FAILED
My nyt cooking app opens for only about 5 seconds and then closes.
