App won’t load for days. Have turned phone off multiple times . Still just white screen
KYC live verification fails. many times and the last 3 days in a row for 15 minutes. I wear glasses and have beard and moustache as on my drivers license. My hair is a little less because of cancer. Can this be fixed, or can I get a list of people who are not allowed or maybe a list of what races and ages are allowed and if you will ever let everyone in who has been doing it for 2 years. The fact you banned seniors or people with beards at the start would have been helpful. I first asked about this a couple months ago and now I have gotten an invite 3 days in a row and talk into the camera. I get back the same form letter every time I report this issue.
Hi, I have been chosen as a verifier for pi KYC but I’m running into an issue where I submit a verification and then will tell me that there’s an issue sending the information, I would screenshot the message but I am not aloud. It is also a nuisance as I don’t want bad marks for not submitting a verification but I have no choice after trying several times to verify.

Unable to log in always says no connection or blank screen been a month now
Since I updated my phone I can’t login anymore with either Facebook or phone number, it requesting new account which I cannot as I don’t want to loose my previous mining.
For about 6 weeks when I open the (current and updated) Pi Network app I’m getting:
“Unable to sync with the Pi Network right now. But, don’t worry, your Pi balance is safe! Please come back and retry a bit later.
Retry [button]”
Tapping ‘Retry’ returns instantly to same message.
Thanks for any support, 6 + weeks no mining is a shame after supporting for so long every day before this problem…

Due to the intermittent connection problems with the Pi Network app on my iPhone, I decided to delete and re-install but when I tried to launch the app it gave me options to continue with FB, Phone Number, or Apple. None of them work. I’ve not been able to mine for over a month.
Following some ideas from this forum, I turned off WiFI, and it allowed me start using the account but it does not allow me to use my previous username. It’s asking me to create a new account.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I have now manages to locate the reason for the problems I have been having where my Pi app failed to use the Wi-Fi, and would only work with Mobile Data.
How it came about, I have no idea, but it must have been there for a long time
However, the issue was with the DNS server addresses logged into the router. A BT Smart Hub, (in reality a piece of junk)
Recently I upgraded my router and basically copied the settings from the old BT smart hub, and herein lies the problem. The DNS addresses were poor and must have been slow servers that took far too long to load the requested pages, so the apps just went into an error state and did nothing. How they ever worked originally is unknown.
Changing the DNS addresses to a well known and fast servers (openDNS) immediately solved the problem. Both apps now work as they did some months ago. An added bonus is that my internet access on my networked PC’s is now much faster.
This just shows that what we think is a failure by one thing, can be the fault of something entirely different.

It is my opinion that this fault all started with an update some 3 updates ago and should buy right be fixed by the developers/core team.
To clarify this, the update referred to is to the Pi apps, mainly the pi.network app (Mining app), and NOT to an update to the Android system.

A problem came about whereby neither of the Pi apps would respond.
I found that these apps would no longer respond to using Wi-Fi, but will only work using mobile data. So much for these being designed in such a way as to not incur any costs to run.
The current state is as follows:
When I wish to do something with either app, say confirm the mining for instance, I have to turn off Wi-Fi and turn on Mobile Data, normally I don’t use that for anything due to cost. Both apps will then work as expected. If Wi-Fi is on along with Mobile Data, then the apps fail to respond. Wi-Fi must be turned off.
Once I have done what is required with the apps, I then revert to using Wi-Fi and turn off mobile date, my normal way to run things.
This is not the best of solutions, but a compromise, with the downside’s of now costing money to run the apps, and having to keep switching back and forth.
However, the Pi Network app will continue mining with Wi-Fi on and mobile data off.
It is my opinion that this fault all started with an update some 3 updates ago and should buy right be fixed by the developers/core team.
However after some months now this problem remains, nothing has been done to clear it, whereby the apps will again use Wi-Fi.
Looking at the list of issues here, that has been going for many months, it seems that nobody from the Pi team is making any attempt to solve or help with any of these issues.

I have now solved the problem myself, the verification was completed.
The answer was to use a different browser, on this occasion MS Edge was the answer.
I was asked by the Pi app to verify my email address. This I proceeded to do and duly received the email with the verification link. This email was received by Outlook on my PC.
Clicking the link opened my Firefox browser as expected. However, when the page was accessed an error was produced and the page was blocked with the following error:
SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP
Therefore, the verification could not be completed. This problem needs some urgent attention.
