Been playing daily on my IPad for months. Theee days ago I try to open it and it just goes back to my home page. Don’t want to delete it and start over because I will lose all of my points and rewards.
Been playing heavily for 3 months, including having made a multitude of purchases just because I love the game that much. Just a little over 24 hours ago, March 29th, the Bejeweled Champions has been permanently errored out with a clickable refresh button. The refresh button does nothing. I have not been able to access that side of Bejeweled Blitz, which is like the main part of the game, completing in challenges and receiving rewards. The error message says “An error occurred while loading Contests.” That’s all it says. Over 24 hours now. I’ve googled everything I could. Only 2 other people I saw had the same issue roughly 5 months ago with no solution or follow up. I’ve reset my iPhone, made sure everything was updated, checked all my connections, etc. The game is bugged and I don’t know what to do and where to go and who to contact. Frustrating. Terrible management/development team.

Bejeweled Blitz… On my iPad, it wouldn’t load, shortly after I reached max level, the first time. I had to delete the app then start all over from zero. Shortly after reaching max level again, the same thing happened; Blitz wouldn’t load.
The first time, I contacted EA, but they offered no help. Deleting and reloading the app was the only option. This second time, it coincided with the game not working properly on my iPhone, as well. On my phone, the app loads, but none of the daily games are updated/available, and the store won’t load. Seems awfully coincidental.
There is no issue with Internet on either device. Most updated iOS is running on both devices. I did a hard restart on both devices, which did not solve either issue. I even tried playing the game using data, rather than wifi. Just know that deleting the Bejeweled Blitz app and reloading it will erase all progress and accumulated rewards.
Sadly, I decided to (permanently) delete Blitz from my iPad and, after a few days with no change to the app’s performance on my iPhone, it looks like it is the end of Bejeweled Blitz for me. It’s a shame, because I enjoy the game.
