Safeway app used to work fine on my Google 9 tablet bought at Walmart (it came with Walmart shopping app installed)
Now for the last several months, first it stopped working, and message said to update to newest version. At that point Google Play Store says “Tbis app is incompatible with your device”.
I’ve notified Safeway and it’s app developers numerous times about this problem, sent in screenshots etc, and several months later nothing has been done. Is Walmart, the seller of the tablet, blocking compatibility of the Safeway app? Like I said the app originally worked fine, until about 4 months ago. BTW The Safeway app works fine on my older devices with older Android 7 and 8 versions.
I’ve been with you as a member since 2015. It now says I can’t get app with my device. I tried two of my neighbors phones and computers and same message. Your customer service just gives me the run-around. I’ve spoken to them four separate times and 4 different answers. You guys are awful!
Since Safeway App was last updated, the Your App no longer supports WICO phones. That is the message I keep getting.

I was having trouble trying to load my game on Rewards but I can get my phone to work I’ve been trying and trying it starts to work and then stops and then I have to start over and then by that time the game was over and I had to have some of my stuff in the other half I didn’t get to finish putting in what do I do I have a lot of rewards that I have for the game on that I didn’t get to put in try to win and it wasn’t my fault I feel like I should be able to please get a chance to put my a in to see if I did win please help me figure this out I saved a lot and worked hard on trying to get it to work I’m not good at phones so it was very difficult for me please understand me confusion thank you sincerely Michelle
No matter how many times we “clip” the coupons, the store most often doesn’t give us the discounts.
We check to verify that they were clipped, then have to return to the store to get our discounts. Employees acknowledge that the computer “messes up a lot.” We have to wonder how many customers don’t go over their receipts very carefully, though we shouldn’t have to do that, especially EVERY time we shop. How many customers think they’re shopping wisely when they in fact pay full price for sale items. How much does Safeway add to their bottom line by fooling customers this way. For the last year this has happened to us, and the store has responded that they are still fixing the problem.
Something is not ringing true, we still get overcharged often, and there seems to be no rush on their part to fix it. We already buy over half of our groceries elsewhere, where their computer ad prices are always honored.

Hasn’t loaded in months
The app will not load the digital deals for the week. It shows other options but not at the current discounted price. This week reflects Lucerne Butter at $1.77 it would also not display Florida’s OJ at $1.99 which I just clipped the coupon for. Bottom line the ‘new improved’ is not nearly as user friendly as the previous version. Hope it gets fixed!
we cannot get the Safeway deals digital coupons to load on either device ? Safeway is advertising sales but will not fix app so people can use the app .

I add the deals to my card, but I only get the deals for club members at checkout. I am no longer getting any of the Just for U coupons any more, even though you can see that I’ve added them in the app. I am SO frustrated with this!
I have the same issue. I added my just4u coupons and deals by computer, i have all in “ my list” and printed it. But at the store, when i buy them I don’t get any deals taken of. I have to ásk the cashier to manually take off the price. It’s really annoying. My list shows all the deals but when I redeem them , none of them works. I would like to come back using the old version just4u. The old one always works for me.
