I lost points and savings this morning as lidl plus would not load, just kept saying try later. Not helpful if you’re at the checkout.

I see somebody mentioned (on this page) a Lidl Plus “card.” If such exists, that would be a more than sufficient solution for us. Personally, I hate mobiles and I realy hate their ability to track your every move and to send you unsolicited ads, all of which are common on my wife’s phone in any case.
I am trying to load Lidl Plus on my wife’s phone, but it does not allow her to register. It always says, in Spanish, “Habido un problema con el certificado de seguridad de este sitio de web” Which translates roughly to “The web site is not secure.”
The phone is using Android 5.1 on a Huawei phone. Because it is a Huawei, Google might not upgrade the Android version due to American problems

I got a message from early April saying Lidl Plus is not compatible with my device, Galaxy Note 4. I think it is because it runs on Android 6 and the updated app will only work on Android 7 or above. I’ve tried deleting the app and reloading to no avail. Seems crazy as older people and those on low incomes are likely to shop at Lidl and own an old smartphone.
Plus app no longer works on Galaxy S5 and the update says its no longer compatable with my device. I’m not buying a new phone so how about getting it sorted before we wander off to shop elsewhere

When I opened the Lidl Plus app this morning, I had a message saying that the terms of use had been updated. I checked the box to accept them and clicked on the Next button. It looked like it was loading the app but then took me back to the same message. I tried accepting the updated terms several times but it kept taking me back to the same screen. I closed the app and reopened it, and now it seems to be working fine. Thought this might help others with the same problem.

Hi, I wanted to register for Lidl Plus but at the end of the process, when I was accepting T&C, clicking register did nothing. I managed to register online on my PC instead.
I then tried to login to Lidl Plus on my mobile (OnePlus 8, all latest android updates installed) but after entering my password and clicking ‘Next’, nothing happens, just like nothing happened when I tried to register for an account on my phone.
I have found what the problem was. It looks like the website that should forward authentication token to the app doesn’t like my default browser, Vivaldi.
I temporarily switched my default browser to Chrome and managed to login without a problem. Please forward this feedback to the developer, they should test the app with more than just Chrome. People use browsers such as Vivaldi, Samsung Internet, Firefox, Opera, and so on.

When I access the Lidl plus app I get a message that an update is available, the message prevents any further access to the app. The update via Google playstore will not install despite numerous attempts. Am so upsat …problem is often the same ….you keep asking for updating the app (sorry too often and always sudden, found that when am about to pay at the till and wish to actually register barcode and then sadly find that am stuck because you ask for an update and don’t have time there and so loose the opportunities) .

Two weeks in a row my Lidl plus card didn’t scan (Waltham Abbey) meaning I didn’t receive any weekly discount that I purposely choice as I had a voucher offer. In addition, I won’t be able to receive my monthly discount as the app isn’t showing any purchases.

Yesterday I spent £25.36 at the Leyland Lidl store, which took me over the £100 in September. It registered my Lidl Plus card, as the receipt says “you saved £0.45 with Lidl Plus”, but the total has not been added so remains at £81.49. There was a problem at the till and the manager had to intervene, and I suspect that in sorting it out the spend failed to be added to the total. Can you please put this right?

Disgusted with Lidl. They have upgraded the app to only accept use from Android 7 or above. Now customers with Android 6 or lower can no longer use the app. Not many in this current climate can afford to replace their phones. My phone is Android 10 but I will be boycotting Lidl because of this.

Lidl plus forces an update. When I try to install I get a message that the app is no longer compatible with my device. My device is a Samsung Galaxy S5 running Android 6. The app store says only Android 5 is required. I do not believe that my device should be incompatible.
Why does the app force an update rather than invite it- I am sure the essential features would still work. This is a very bad way to go about things – disgraceful in my opinion

My lidl plus has disappea red of my phone
My original lidl app was fine. Until yesterday. When the app said it needed updating. Now I cannot get the app back on Google play

This morning in Lidl, Chippenham I tried to use my £2 coupon due to expire today, but it would not work and it was suggested by the assistant it was due my bill including alcohol. The very kind assistant took the alcohol off the bill and tried again but it still wouldn’t work, she then tried to reactivate the coupon but it still would not work, so my special trip to Lidl this morning to use my £2 coupon was a waste of time.
I suspect this happens to many customers who do not ask the question ‘ has the coupon worked?’ whilst still at the till and get home disappointed with their visit.
Unless this procedure is changed I suspect many customers will not return.
Says on my phone I need to update the app, but that my phone is not compatible with the new app.
What are the options as it has worked perfectly well before this upgrade and I have just achieved my £200.00 spend but cannot access it through the phone.

I had a notification that after spending > £200 this month. I was credited with a £5 and £10 . This showed on my phone but then dissapeared and could not be found in store.

My dad is not able to use lidl plus on his phone because when trying to loggin in inside the app it returns an URL unknown scheme error which I dont know how to fix. I tried reinstalling the app, performing software updates on the phone but nothing works.
Im feeling bit annoyed as iv shopped every wk at Lidl with the plus card but this is the 2nd time iv not been able to receive my £2 voucher it showed up initially but when it came to wanting to activate it it just wasnt on the vouchers (it wasnt out of time and i did not delete it either!) I also missed my £10 voucher 1 wk cos as i got to check out and opened up my phone to it saying i needed my password, which i didnt have on me (id never needed it for that before!!) so that was that! So last frid not only did I not get my £2 voucher but they had a problem with the card machine, when it came to paying, at till (their fault not my card) and id already scanned my plus card , so they moved me to the card machine that was working to finish my transaction. I asked them did i need to scan my lidl card again and she said “no, it was already done” yet when i got home I found that it hadnt and id spent £99.63 which would have gone towards this months £10 voucher. Hello, I wanted to set up an account in the Lidl Plus application so I filled in all the required information and on the last page the preferred form of contact marked and I agree to the Terms of Use, then press the “create account” button and nothing happens. Please help or solve the problem. Same situation is on the android mobile app and on PC.

It is telling me to log in, which I do, and then it just comes up with the message “Lidl Plus has stopped” and when I press “Open App Again” it does open the app, but when I try to log in again exactly the same happens.

Hi, app not deducting £5 voucher at till. Voucher was activated. Receipt number UK136802894894089211. Store ID Aldershot transaction date 30 Mar 21. Also voucher due to expire today.

I went shopping in Lidl this morning. I had a £2.00 coupon but this do not activate while in the store. I have lost £4.00 in total so far due to activation issues this year. Also the £2.00 coupon is not showing up on my iphone.

At Corby Lidl I have today activated coupons and scanned the app at the cashier. But neither dicounts have been minused off, nor any new shopping has been added to my previous spending. When I left the shop I checked my paper receipt and no discount shows. It has happened about 5 times for the last 6 months. The person at the till assured me that the scanning had gone through, thou. How can I get this problem sorted and get the discounts back? Thank you. Daniel.

My Lidl Plus app will not stay open on my Android device. After a couple of seconds it minimises. I have unistalled it and reinstalled it to no avail.
Lidl Plus app keeps crashing. The app and phone are both updated to their latest respective versions, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and I have restarted the phone, all to no avail. Could anybody help?
