Lidl Plus not loading

Lidl Plus loads very slowly
If Lidl Plus is downloading very slowly, it could also be due to the size of the app itself. The progress bar gives you a slow download, but this may only appear because of the size of the app. In the event of an update, you can check in the respective app store how big the installation file is and see whether it may load for so long due to its size.

- Check internet connection
The reasons why Lidl Plus cannot be loaded cannot be more different. In most cases it is due to your own internet connection. It is quite possible that your device is in a WiFi network, but it still does not work, so you should try to access a website on the Internet using your browser. If this works fine, then it’s not your smartphone or tablet. If you try to download the app via the mobile network (which is not recommended because of the data consumption), then you should check how stable the mobile connection is. Perhaps your data volume has also been used up and is therefore only available slowly.It can also happen that a download from the mobile network is not possible due to your settings.
In this case you should check the settings for mobile data on your device. - Restart smartphone or tablet
Often there are problems with the App Store after updating the Android or iOS operating system. After the system has been updated, it may well happen that the connection with the login data for the respective store no longer works securely. In this case you should restart your smartphone or tablet, which will reload all settings and functions and, if necessary, re-establish connections to the App Store. - Check server status
If a restart and a working internet connection did not solve the problem and Lidl Plus still loads slowly or not at all, then it could also be on the servers of the iTunes Store for iOS or for Android on the servers of the Google Play Store lie. It shouldn’t be due to the servers of the developer Lidl Digital International GmbH & Co. KG, as the app is on the App Store servers, in rare cases these can be overloaded or malfunctions occur due to maintenance work.

This will restart the app completely and problems may be resolved.- Open the “ Settings ” app on the device.
- Tap Apps & Notifications then click View all apps .
- Scroll down and tap Google Play Store.
- Tap Memory Empty cache .
- Then tap on Clear data .
- Open the Play Store again and try the download again.

Our Lidl staff at Sprowston in Norwich are lovely hard working people and the guy on the till tried everyone’s card and then explained and apologised for it not scanning.
He was right by saying that it was a national problem and I don’t understand why customers shout at them, they don’t have any control over the app or Internet!

My lidl plus app wanted to update to today. When I ran it a message like “an update is available” appeared on my phone. But when I attempted to install the update I observed a message like “this device is no compatible with this app”.
In essence, I suspect, my Android 6 phone is no longer supported by the app provider. I can see no good reason for this and have no plans to replace my phome or update its firmware to Android 7+

Lidl Plus App (LPA) wouldn’t update today 23/11/21.
It says “there’s a new and improved version of the LPA. please update your app to make sure you’re not missing out on any discounts or new features.” Press Update.
When you do, the screenshot shows AppGallery and a group of 4 squares with upper Left box in grey. Below it “This app is not yet available in the current region.”
Never experienced Update problems before nor own a Samsung or Apple phone and live in Cardiff. So really, really unsure what is going on with Lidl.
Emailed & phoned CSD and struggled to send photos & screenshots. Expected help & support with problem fixed. But “NO!” told rather bluntly by email that App is not available.
There is NO indication on either screen to advise loyal, existing customers of this ‘change’. Nor did woman say this when I phoned CSD outlining my plight today and yesterday.
This is their paltry reply’s:- “I am sorry for any disappointment caused. From time to time, it is necessary that we update our app for security purposes and for additional services that we are introducing within the app.
Recently we have updated our app and as your device no longer meets the minimum requirements, you will no longer be able to access the Lidl Plus app.”
Wow I guess the ‘S’ now stands for shit or shitty. Not ‘S’ for Service.
Was on course to get £10 off plus Lidl owed me 30 points for shop that didn’t scan, despite sending receipt screenshot. Unsure if they will offer any compensation to make up for the misery, female staff rudeness and phone bills.

Why have you shifted to Requires Android 7.0 and up. There are still a lot of older devices out there that will no longer work. Or at least stop the old version from constantly going to the update screen and instead continue to work.

trying to load lidl plus app I get a message this item is not available in your country
Lidl app not working on iPhone even after downloading new app. It also has lost my account details. It fails too many times in store when it did work. Sort it out Lidl.
Mylidl plius didn,t work
The last 3 times l have been in shopping my lidi plus hasn’t opened and l was unable to use it .didnt have any problems before .
I am a daily shopper and disappointed if I have lost my points

Lidl plus card machines not working in my local shop .just spent 55£ can I get my total put on at another time
4 February 2021. My Lidll Plus on my iphone won’t load at all today. I have tried restarting the iphone, but the app still won’t load.

The Lidl app on my phone won’t open. I have turned my phone off & back on but it will still not open. I was going to check offers before shopping tomorrow & I also have £10 voucher which I can’t access
There was an update for Lidl Plus app after updating the app opens and flashes off the screen it’s an iPhone I have and live in Dublin
My Lidl app is not opening. I have restarted my phone and still not working. If I delete the app I will lose its data. How should I proceed?
Lidl app won’t connect and I also did not get discounts .
My Lidl card which has been fine and the offers load but the Lidl card would not load at the checkout yesterday 27 November so I missed out on the shopping discount and total to be added to the running total for the month.
